22. 1. 2014, 7pm, Of Häxan and Hexen 2.0

Venue: UCL, Department of History of Art, Gordon Square no. 20, London WC1E 6BT, room 3/4

We will screen the silent movie Häxan: Witchcraft through the Ages (Denmark 1922; with a voice-over by William Burroughs). This will be followed by a tarot card reading with Tomas D’Aradia, Leila Dear and Mark Pilkington using a deck designed by artist Suzanne Treister as part of her work ‘Hexen 2.0’, investigating cybercultures, warfare, surveillance, the occult, and countercultures.
