12. 12. 2016, 19.00 Uhr, Sarah Wade, University College London: Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno – Film Screening & Discussion

Ort: Galerie für Landschaftskunst, Lornsenplatz 5, 22767 Hamburg (bitte vorher via e-mail bei Petra Lange-Berndt anmelden, der Platz ist begrenzt!)

Commissioned by the Sundance channel as part of its ‚green‘ programming, Green Porno sees the actress Isabella Rossellini perform the reproductive acts of various creatures such as insects, fish and marine mammals. Wearing well-crafted yet comical costumes, Rossellini entertainingly disrupts borders between sex and species, aiming to educate and fascinate viewers with insights into other than human behaviours at the same time as raising awareness of various threats facing wildlife. Join us for a screening of a selection of these short films, and others exploring similar themes. The screening will be followed by a discussion (in English).
